UPGRADE-what are my exhaust choices

2014 subaru brz automatic, already putting 8k miles on it for just little over 4 months. looking forward to upgrading my exhaust, want a exhaust louder than stock one but not loud enough that i couldn't heard my music playing or wake up my neighbor at night. a nice smooth tone at 2000-2500 rpm, but gets louder after 3000 rpm.

some of exhaust systems i founded:

Ultimate racing BRZ/FR-S 3" Dual Exit Catback Exhaust

Greddy SP Elite Axleback Exhaust

TRD Dual Cat-Back Exhaust System (like the tone, any similar exhaust tone?)

Invidia (HS12SSTG3S) Q300 Cat-Back Exhaust System

MXP SP CAT BACK EXHAUST

what are the rating for those exhausts: 1 to 10, if the stock exhaust rates at 3. also help out if anyone had some better choices of exhaust. thanks.

I have a Q300 with the mods listed below and have absolutely 0 drone. Sometimes I think the intake is louder than the exhaust. It's noticeable when I really step on it though, but super quiet just cruising around town. Some days I would want it a bit louder, but if I could just find that nice balance of loud without drone and rasp, I'd be happy. I might end up trying the Ark GRIP exhaust at some point with its helmholtz resonators, but overall I'm happy with the Q300 for a daily driver.

Any reason why you have a GReddy axle-back only while the rest are CBE?

I love my Nameless offset axle back. 30,000 miles in it and it sounds great.

There's so much info on this forum that can be found through casual perusal or searching. No one can tell you what you want.

However, some of the favorites are the Invidia Q300 (relatively quiet), Invidia N1 (cheap but loud as balls, esp. if you have headers too), and perrin 2.5" (resonated or not).

Highly recommend a ft86speedfactory exhaust. Its a whole exhaust system and includes uel catted headers. Somewhat pricey but its well worth the price in my opinion
