I guess I'm using my old Cooper S as a standard. If I drove like a grandma in that one, the trip computer said I could do 800 km on a tank. Realistically I only ever reached 650 doing normal spirited driving, but then again it did have a 1.6L turbo engine. So my wallet does ache now that I'm driving an 86.

I am lucky if I reach 270 miles before my low fuel light goes off. I know I have a reserve... but still.

Sort of related, and didn't want to start an entirely new thread for it, but I saw this today and thought it was interesting....

IDK what year CX-5 they are quoting but I can assure you there's no way your traveling 67-90 miles when it's fuel like comes on, at most 30-50.
