Sounds like we are saying the same thing, it "could" but unlikely it "will", at least not enough to make a difference to either the fuel or the pump.

I would go with a little butter, flour, brown sugar, raisins, maybe a little cinnamon, and a few chocolate chips, then bake for 8 to 10 minutes...

No no no you screwed up the calculation. You divided by the watermelon and dropped the aardvark.

Wait, what aardvark? I was using Mr. Lahey as an exponent and assuming a frictionless surface due to a supersaturation of Crisco.

Not sure how accurate Torque App is, but it always indicates 2.4 gallons left every time the fuel light comes on. And that light's come at least a dozen times for me.. it's always at 2.4 gallons.

So you can go 60 miles at least on the highway if you drive conservatively (using 93 octane). I've driven 62 miles once after the light came on.. cruising at 65-70mph. And still had 0.5 gallons left (again, according to the Torque app). Wasn't trying to get myself stranded on the side of the road or anything, just wanted to run the tank as empty as possible before filling up with E85.

[QUOTE=Dadhawk;2880650

As long as the temp of the device remains warmer than the space around it heat will dissipate in order to equalize it.

[/QUOTE]

...and the rate of heat transfer is directly proportional to the delta T between the 2 entities. So any heat added to the fuel will slow that rate at which the pump can give up its heat to the fuel.

I wouldn't risk it to that situation lol. I usually fill it up when 1/5 to prevent fuel pump damage.
Also, I have been using E85 for almost a year, E85 run faster than you think if it is low, so be careful.

Ya. Not a hope in hell I would do my normal habits on E85. I would also need to fuel up every day though so it would be a pain.
