Hey, so I have a perrin tune that was configured for CA 91 gas... I failed my smog today and the printout says OBDII Monitors Not Ready, Evaporative System, Oxygen Sensor
Everything else passed.

Now the thing is, I just had the battery replaced after the car was sitting dead for about a month (went out of town). Do I need to reflash to the stock ECU programming? Or just drive it for 100 miles to get 'wake the ECU up'?

I would say drive the car at highway speeds to set the o2 sensor monitor and if everything else passed you should be fine with passing. EVAP being incomplete will still get the car to pass.

Hey, if a twin is bought from a private party and its been registered as Non Op for a year... does the car still need to be smog? Or still exempt since our twins have the 6 year rule? Thanks

6 Year rule does not apply to ownership transfers.

No, you'll fail visual inspection.

Flex fuel kit would cause a failure correct? I if they see the aftermarket sensor and lines... Even if the stock tune and all other components we're stock..?

Not sure on that one...

Im guessing If you were running 91 and the stock tune it'd pass, even though you had a ff kit.

May want to do some research yourself though.

Regarding the EO# label, I bought a TRD intake on line. It is 50 state compliant and has an EO#. But because I bought it on line I didn't get the sticker. Does it have to be the "official" sticker or can I just tell the smog tech the EO#?

Thanks

If I remember correctly, the TRD intake kit does not include the sticker. If you want one you have to get it at the dealer, about $16.

So, I went to the dealer today to buy some parts, including the sticker. He told me they can't just sell the sticker, willy-nilly. He said I need to go to the dealer I originally purchased it from with proof of purchase. And THEN they will contact Toyota Corporate who will ship them the sticker...

So, plans B and C:
B. Anyone have one for sale?
C. Can anyone post a hi-rez pic that I can just print and stick on the airbox?

Thanks...
