Smile I wrote you a poem.

I was thinking this may belong in "Off-Topic" but technically it is on topic, and I couldn't find a better place to put it. Original poem. Enjoy.

Poem #2 http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...29#post1896029
----------------------------------
'Twas the first day of summer
and all through the land,
heavy feet hit the pedals
with gearshift in hand.

The Mustangs and Camaros
were boisterous and loud,
revving their engines,
all pompous and proud.

But they had their chance,
to live like a king.
Now one little car
will change everything.

Her engine was small,
her body was light.
But when the pedal hit floor,
Man, that car could take flight.

She wasn't very strong,
and she wasn't very fast;
It wouldn't take long,
for her to get passed.

But when a turn came around,
and the muscle slowed down,
We dropped it in third
and swung her ass 'round.

Tell me how much fun
could it possibly be
to drive a straight line,
all hum-diddle-dee?

Give the steering a turn,
give the hand brake a rip.
Take the corner as fast,
as will make their car flip.

She wasn't built to be fast,
her props aren't "mad".
She was built to have fun,
And Oh, So much fun to be had!

So take first place,
be the straight-line king,
Because..

I once wrote a shadorma for my favorite girl in the world having it finished off about her car.
She returned it to me resulting in a quick exit with my tail between my legs. Further insult, it didn't help one of my favorite guitar players died later that week

Not sure why I read OP's poem in Jack the Ripper or make that, Rip the Jacker voice. lol

Thanks for all the feedback guys, really makes sharing stuff like this worth it. : ) I'm working on another one, but it's slow going since I used most of my best ideas in this one.

However, in the mean time I'm going to set up a build thread for my Winona. She's still young, but she's already got some upgrades.
Cheers,
Angel

Just to screw with archaeologists who will uncover it thousands of years from now and think they're some commandments from a deity or something. Worth it.
