I cut my vent to make it functional. I wouldn’t do that with a supra. Then again, people cut fenders for widebodies and this will get widebodied, so I know vents will get cut too.

Since it's for charity, does the buyer get to claim it as a charitable donation and reduce the amount of tax they pay like they do with hospital contributions?

Ain’t a Supra without the wing and tail lights. But you also won’t be opening your hatch

Well if you made it high enough and got the angles just right...

After seeing the new Supra objectively compared to some competition it doesn't really look that great.
Here is to hoping the driving experience blows us away.

another article that totally misses the most important bit - thrill of driving and handling. The Mustang was recently a long termer for one of the testers at evo magazine, basically my #1 source for opinions on cars. He said he wasn't going to miss the Mustang after it was gone. Just a big lumbering beast. The Z is twitchy at speed and the Corvette doesn't really compete IMO. I see myself daily driving the Supra, but not the Corvette, not to mention I think it looks like cack. Another useless numbers comparison IMO

So all the guys knocking BWM reliability, just remember that Toyota was not releasing data or anything for how many months after BMW unveiled the Z4? There is a reason they were still out testing it. I think they even made their own timing chain correction on the engine as a result of their testing.

If the supra came with a Manual and the taillights looked more like the last render shown on the white car and was for $45k I would get one. Hands down. Even with all the fake vents!

PS- This new B58 is closed deck, forged crankshaft, etc. It will hold power.
