Installed V4 Stg2+ yesterday and drove about 50miles. Besides the slight "dead pedal" feel, car felt smoother than old tunes. Will be switching to E85 once I empty this 93 tank.

When using apps like Torque/HLT/Racechrono via Bluetooth dongle, is the oil temperature reading ok? Previously I was using an A01G based rom (like this v4) on my B01C car, and the oil temperature doesn't read.

Ive run the A01G/A02G roms for years the oil temp pid works fine on torque app, only weird thing ive noticed is the V2.1 blutooth ELM327 adapters wont read oil temp but the V1.5 ones do.

After 100miles + and my '13 FRS just doesn't feel right with V4 (Stg 2+). Throttle felt sluggish and hard to drive below 2.5k rpm. I install JDL ultra quiet FP, flashed it back with old stage 2 UEL tune, and let it idle for 15mins. Took it for normal driving to highway and damn, it felt so good! No sluggish throttle and it just sounded much better. I think V4 Stg 2+ isn't for me.

Original Mods:

Tune: OFT - OTS STG-2 UEL, 93Oct

1) Tomie UEL header
2) Invidia OP
3) OEM FP
4) ARK Grip Cat-back
5) K&N filter
6) Perrin Inlet

I hate the v4 throttle response too. Where can I find a v2 rom for a USDM 2017 AT?

Are the torque request tables different between V2 and V4? If so using the V2 values might fix the throttle response?

Just cross checked the DBW tables and they are identical between the 2 tunes. Maybe it's a placebo effect due to the V4 maps being smoother?

V4 is smooth like silk, v2 tend to be like racecar. For daily driver v4 is more desirable plus heel-toe is a breeze to do it because rpms dont drop too quickly. Maybe is a placebo effect

To me, V4 throttle is only smooth above 3k. I've tried holding it below 2.5k and my car stutter like it's going to die.

I noticed V4 K00G tunes has no table for gear thresholds in romraider definitions provided by Shiv
Guy with EU my17 car i tuned with OFT now has reduced final drive and no longer display correct gear (mostly the 5th not showing up)
Are there updated definitions?

Yep, just saw it
but my17 USDM MT (k00c) also doesnt have them

funny thing is that k00g/k00c defs have them defined in the .xml but they don t seem to work as they do not appear in Romraider
but i dont understand, US cars have shorter final driver but for v4 they use k00g as base
how shiv changed them for US cars if they do not open in romraider?
