Hey man, any updates? I ordered from Tactrix. I am wondering what size hoses are needed. I currently use 5/32" for my MBC. Want to know if I need to buy different size hose and hose adapters.

Thanks!

Awesome!! Just left the OEM purge valve in its place and connected and then left the intake port on the EBC disconnected?

I hate not being able to open Ecutek without dongle even for log study!

yeah same here wish I could just open and read logs.... so I just got back from a drive, car is slow, just boosting 6psi as per normal wastegate operation, seems like the ebcs is just open all the time and not holding the pressure unless john did set up 6psi

I also let the intake port untouched... I found other guys that put a cap on it but im thinking it needs to bleed air from this port so I asked John about it... just sent a message on zendesk, we shall get an answer eventually.. man 6psi, car is piss as slow!

What they are really talking about is what the Subaru guys call an EBCS or an Electrontic Boost Control Solenoid. The Subaru ECU is setup to control boost through an OEM solenoid. John and some of the other tuners have found a way to send a signal through the fuel vent wiring to an EBCS to control boost through the EcuTek programming.

Most EBCs or Electronic Boost Controllers come with a solenoid as well that is instead controlled by a little box that you mount somewhere inside the car.

Mine shipped and is on its way! I routed the WG lines to that area today. Mind sharing a pic of where you attached it? I saw the blue connector today. It can't get easier than that!
