@killerkid08 @vubaru Lets break down the install of the boost solenoid controlled by Ecutek in two parts.

- Boost hoses connection
- Wiring of the boost controller

I will edit this later ono when i have more time
just like i thought.

What sort of new hoses do you need? Can't you just reuse the stock ones and leave the purge valve in place?

Sorry I'm still very new at this.

Thank you for the write-up so far!

I'm not sure removing the VSV is such a great idea?
What are you using to purge the vapor from the fuel tank or are you venting to the atmosphere?
Also VSV means vacuum switching valve...that vacuum is used for two differant things what's the second?

I think you would just hook something up to it

What boost level did you hit when the hose blew off?

Driver01 if you could take some more pics of the install, including the connections of the purge valve and ebcs, that would be really helpful. I'm still pretty lost on this install, and there aren't any instructions available for the install.

I think I got it nailed down. If we were closer I'd install it for you.

I tried googling about it but didn't find anyone concretely saying its bad. If its any consolation, I have another car (2000 Camry) and it hasn't work for a long time with no noticeable effects. Let me know!

Ok, that doesn't sound like it will be too problematic. @Visconti said he'd walk me through it. I'll just grab some extra zipties and hose clamps then give him a call when I'm ready, and keep you posted.

With the injector seal failures in the other threads I'm going to take things nice and easy.

About to attempt this, of course I pick a weekend where it's like 95 out already. Will take some photos of the purge valve in place and a few other aspects of the install.
