installed today! look amazing. I'm a little concerned about the tq spec. The tom's instructions dictate 20kgf cm which is 1.44 ft lb for the nuts. I followed their instructions and used the tq sequence dictated by the TSB for our car. Has anyone else taken care of this, or compared the gasket design to OEM? I hope TOM's hasn't overlooked any leak issues.

Nice glad you like them!! And we also used the TSB for the torque and have not had any issues at all, nor did I notice any distortion in the metal so I think I did it right

Thanks again,
Rick

Finally got around to installing mine this morning.

Just a tip: when re-pinning the harness, a sewing needle with a sharp point works REALLY well.

No problem there, if it works, it works!

Thanks,

The new tails we are bringing in will have the USDM wiring, so if you were to place the order now, you would not have to re-pin. Hope this helps

Thanks,
Rick

Got them installed today. Changing the pins was easy for 3 of the wires... the last left a little damage to the plug, so I will have to just keep an eye to ensure the pin doesn't creep out.

I found the pinning process pretty straight forward as I also had to do this on my previous Colin's. Only downside here is the OEM harness had to be re-pinned verses the actual tail light plug. Which DEPO in all their wisdom siliconed the wires into place for moisture protection I guess

The new USDM ones they have coming in are completely plug & play. The previous models were JDM and required 2 wires on each tail to be switched. Not a big deal, it took like 5 minutes per tail, but your good to go on all the USDM ones

Did anyone have a problem with the turn signals flashinh the first longer than the rest, like 0.5 seconds, everything after that works fine.

Will buying the Tapturn Flasher Relay resolve this problem? Also will the tapturn replace the LED Flasher Relay Module TOMS Provided?
