You should be fine. I'm running 235/40 18x9.5+38 OEM suspension and it's tight. You'll have an extra 3mm on offset and roughly another 12mm clearance on wheel width (if my math is right). The thing to look out for is spring perch and rubbing at full lock. You might poke a bit, so if anything you might need camber bolts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

im looking at either 1.5 or 1 inch drop on springs, will 17x9 +35 (enkei rpf1) be okay? what about them in 17x9 +45? im also looking at the enkei T6S 17x9 +45 and gram lights 57dr 17x9 +38? what tire size would be ideal for 17x9?

I'd go 17x9 +35 if I were you. You could have clearance issues with springs at +45. Not sure about 17x9 +38, but that might work okay. I'd go 235/40 or 245/40 for tires depending on your meaty/stretch preference. I'd also flip through this thread...http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15160 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agreed^
The only potential issue with this setup is if you plan on going with RPF1s and getting a big brake kit (brembos). They dont have enough clearance from the spokes. If you don't plan on doing that, get your springs and some camber bolts to adjust camber/poke to your liking and you'll be sitting pretty.

Will be coming up on some Gram lights 57DR's that could not be passed up.. my current set up is just stock shocks on Eibach Pro Kit springs. The wheel and tire specs are 18x9 +38 on 255/35/18. Would they fit? What would need to be done?

I'd be concerned about the front clearance to the spring perch. 255s are probably too wide without coilovers. Check the meaty tire thread. Good stuff in there and someone's probably tried this already. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Noob here... Just wondering if Enkei's TM7 17x9s with a 45mm offset would cause any issues? I have plans on lowering the car on coils max 1 inch.
If they do fit what tire specs would you guys reccomend? |

17x9 +45 trp c4
255/40r17 nexen sur4 Currently bone stock suspension. I will be upgrading and lowering eventually, but will probably eat through this set of tires long before then. So I am more concerned about wheel fitment than anything. I will probably want to eventually run 245s or 235s though instead of the 255s. I am most concerned with fitment to the suspension being +45 offset. Has anyone run a similar size? Long story short, I have a potential really good deal on the sur4's and have been looking at the c4's for a while. Reasonably priced and strong, even if they are not the lightest wheel in the world. |

245/40 is a good choice for tire size. 255's are a little overkill, but it will fit. |
