There is a guy in London that appears way older than me (yes there are some) that drives a totally riced 2002 STi. I mean this thing could have starred in F&F. I always chuckle and wonder if I look as silly to the younger guys every time I see him.

60. I put up with owning "sensible" cars for about 38 years. Last year, my turn came to buy a new car and I said, "I'm buying a sports car this time." As it turns out, my wife LOVES to drive the FR-S and likes to ride in it too. Now she is talking about buying a sports car for herself.

The fact that it is Hot Lava ("burnt orange") helps a lot. Very popular at the UT football games, probably more popular than the current coach.

You're an inspiration. When I grow up I want to be just like you. Manual or auto?

41. The BRZ was bought for me as my new DD. My wife doesn't like driving it because she says she can't really park it, due to the long front end. She's only driven it 4 times so far in the 6 months I've owned it.

45 here. My wife likes the FR-S...makes her miss her '02 Civic SiR hatch (Si in US market). She drives an Acura RDX. My other car is a Mustang.

50 and my wife loves to go for rides in the mountains, and cars and coffee events. I had a customized 1988 Ford Ranger minitruck (lowered, etc), 2001 Mustang, a generic suv and mini van. Also have a F150 now, aka her truck.

I'm 44 and have had a number of cars and motorcycles in the past. None of my past cars were considered sports cars though. I got my speed demons out of me while riding my latest bike, a Honda CBR 954RR. When this car came out, I had to have it. I loved the handling and still being able to drive it as a DD. My girlfriend really likes it. I tried to teach her to drive stick in this car and she started to get the hang of it but decided it wasn't for her.LOL.

turning 48 in jan. wife likes the car but doesn't like to drive it because she hasn't mastered the art of not scraping the front lip. son (8 yrs old) loves to ride in it. i came from a '78 280Z that i had since '85 so my wife said she couldn't picture me in anything but a similar sports car when i was shopping around. i had my heart set on the BRZ but was also considering more 'practical' cars like the WRX/STi. 'get the BRZ' she said, so i did.
i recently totaled my 4th and last motorcycle (ducati 996 - rode for a little over 20 years - had 6 motorcycle accidents). i got most of my speed thrills in the canyons and at the track on the bike, but i'm sticking to four wheels now...it's safer.

wife doesn't like it.

9yo son loves it.

Don't drive it much, way to many people / traffic around here to enjoy it as a DD.

53 next Saturday. My first car was a 66 Fairlane, second a 67 Mustang...been nothing but practical cars ever since, until this one.

Wife won't drive it, hates riding in it, says I make her "car sick"...which is fine by me, I enjoy the weight reduction and quiet interior!
