Obviously you will see a bump in performance, but the true benefit of the header is the fact that it allows you to be more aggressive in tuning, and really gain a significant amount of horsepower and torque.

If all you are really after is quantifiable data, I'll do my best to honor that request.

Could you post tuned results with a variety of setups. Of particular interest to me would be full 2.5 inch vs full 3.0 inch vs 2.5 inch OP, stock catback and mid pipe. Also there were hints of Innovate kit with and without the header. I'd love to see that posted as well.

Next I'd like to hear your opinion on bolting a 3 inch outlet to a 2.5 inch OP and the reversion that it could cause.

Finally, a lot of guys have described sealing issues. Are they installing it incorrectly, is there a certain procedure they should follow, or is this a mistake at your end?

Thanks for addressing our concerns.

"We have a few tuners around the country we have worked with on the header, get in touch with us if you want more info on that. "

List of the tuner that did work on this header?

I would honestly call them or start a chat through the site with this many questions. They answer questions rather fast that way!

I had no issues with sealing. I did not reuse the stock gaskets. I bought some Grimmspeed multi layered metal gaskets. Make sure to tighten it down to specs and recheck them after the first time you get take the car out for a drive. That is my 2 cents on the sealing.

It's already thermal coated, why wrap it?

that's why I was asking, it's really hot over here. 100+ on a normal summer day. would additional wrap make any difference?

It won't really make much of a difference because the coating holds the heat inside the pipes more. If anything, extremely minor. Now if it was a turbo downpipe, that's a completely different story, but wrap + oil could mean a fire hazard.

My header stays pretty darn cool even in the hottest summer days. The coating does a great job of holding in the heat.

I've been thinking about wrapping mine when it comes in. I don't know if it's really necessary though.

We see average temps of 20-25c in the summer. And I'm on the coast, so it's usually not even that warm.
