First FT-86 Video -- from preview of 2009 Tokyo Auto Show

The FT-86 was previewed in this leaked video of several cars making their public debuts at the 2009 Tokyo Auto Show.

The car isn't in motion, but it's still great to see it in live footage from some angles which we haven't yet seen in photos!

My bud is japanese so I had him listen to what they said. One stat that they gave was about the suspension - front strut, double wishbone rear, 225/40/19 tires all around. 4 pot brakes front and 2 pot rear.

Yeah, I was listening to that guides info and I was pretty surprised to hear that it's gonna have 225/40/19 tires. Hope Engine gonna have enough HP or TQ to move those wheels. IDK why they put 19's in there. Kinda wish for 17 or 18.. but other than that I'm lovin' the concept.

Just a concept, remember. I'm sure the production car will have 17s or 18s on it. If not, you can always just get smaller aftermarket rims.

True, I'm pretty sure they'll put smaller size (hopefully). Getting smaller rims will change the speedometer, so wanna keep stock size.

If it's all digital, you might be able to get it recalibrated -- on that note, I'm very interested in engine management options...

What? Why did this thread come back from the dead? That reply makes no sense. I'm so confused!
