Though I too am no fan of push to start, it would have made little difference if OP had owned an FR-S and left the keys in the ignition instead.

A member here (won't name.. He likes to be mysterious) tipped me off via PM that he saw my car at his plaza parked in an ally way running. Sees these punks often in the area, all looked fishy, and with good fortune happened to see my post about my lost car which matched the description and plate info.

I called cops, headed over to the area and waited for cops to raid the place (2 hours later)

Suspect obviously got away, nothing new. Car was towed to garage for forensic finger printing. I later requested to have it towed back to Subaru for a full inspection.

Key will be reprogrammed and vehicle picked up Monday if all is well.

That was a beautiful ending.

@Tcoat Making things worst all the time. Doesn't matter what post, analyzing every sentence of every post there ever was. Even when someone is frustrated (stolen BRZ) still seeks out opportunity to call them out. When everybody else is giving advice and saying they're sorry. I bet you get this magical "It's my time to shine" feeling inside when you noticed someone is blaming the wrong thing or said something slightly wrong. Is this a hobby? I think it is for you... Was it worth calling him out, regardless if it was a misunderstanding? Its ok, I already foresee your answer to that...

@SeratoBeats We all make mistakes in our lives and that was one really unfortunate mistake. Sometimes all it takes is to allow some prick that opportunity and them willing to do something like that. Glad your car was found and remember always, that it could have been worst.

yes indeed I will respond because of the incredibly hypocritical nature of this post calling me out for calling people out. Because you disagree with me does not make me wrong.
Read through again and see if everybody was saying they are sorry. I do not need to bring up the opposing viewpoint to feel like I shine. I bring it up because it i a legitimate point and should be discussed. I am not asking anybody to agree with me. You think everybody should just hold hands and sing happy songs no matter what the situation?

From my point of view, @Tcoat was just giving the OP a much needed reality check as the OP started to progress through the the normal stages of shock/disbelief, denial etc from creating the opportunity for getting one's own car stolen.

Glad the OP got his car back and has learned his lesson.

There it goes lol. Missing the point. Point ---> "Calling people out even if they're going through some trouble <--- Point. Don't look like your going through lost cars or anything, so yes I called out your call out.

You think everybody should just hold hands and sing happy songs no matter what the situation? Sounds like it was worth it.

I too understand that there will be a lot of emotions for someone who just had his car stolen. With that being said, OP made a critical error in judgment and initially started blaming others for his own actions, but he realized that the fault lie within himself.

This is a situation that ended far better than expected, and he can now take that experience as a lesson learned.

End. Of. Story.

I think this thread has run its course. @ichitaka05

Man I know this is done but ugh ...why!

I didn't blame anyone lol

Think you kinda misunderstood my initial post about the pizza guy. The blame was on me, no one blamed anyone for my car getting stolen please please please re read my initial post...

But let's please move on everyone

Mistakes were made, mistakes learned from, car was lost, but now is found. The result is what matters nothing more

Ahhhh the cigarette butt in the grill guy. No your comments make more sense. So because I disagreed with you there then all I do is rip people apart eh? Interesting concept based upon two threads where I happened to disagree. Please point out others where I have made comments when people had problems. I think you will find that the majority of my posts in other threads were made in attempt to help or even in defense of people that others were ragging on.

I said not one word to Sera when he was "going through some trouble". Not one, even though I did think to myself "dumbass" the other guys had it well in hand. I did not voice my thoughts until he had the car back and posted a long story on how it was a set up. It was that story which I was objecting to not his overall situation. Him and I hashed that out (and I am sure we provided much entertainment in the process) and this is the last I will say on the subject.

Point out when people had problems? He had the problem of a stolen car. You made the nitpicking comment. From my point it seems you were making it seem as if he was blaming others for his mistake but you gotta put yourself in his shoes fro a while. If my car was stolen, I would try to think of as many people that could have done it and guessing what ways it could have been stolen. If entertainment was the motive and you made the comment afterwards, so be it.
