No, it's not right. Compressing helium makes it weigh closer to air making its lift even worse than at just 1 atm, or something like that.

I would think you are correct or else all those tanks in the Dollar Stores would be against the ceiling.

That'd make dollar stores more entertaining at least

Good, then we agree :-)
The more gas you cram into a container the more it weighs.

Computer geek here, BTW :-)

How about using hydrogen? Or you could maybe use two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen one so that it is more stable.

Screw helium......use hydrogen.

Its lighter and can be used as a second fuel source.

Oh! I got this one! Gasses in a container that are less dense (for any given pressure) than air produce a buoyant force because they displace a more dense substance at relatively equal pressure. The substance with greater mass per area will be pulled by gravity harder, and will push the less dense substance in it's container out of the way. If you increase the pressure by adding more of the gas to the container, you will increase total mass of the container, thereby reducing the density difference.

Also your tires will sound funny, lose pressure faster, and your car has a chance of spontaneously becoming the Ghost-Rider-mobile.

Again, it explains a lack of understanding on your part, so don't be mad at the responses.

You know what mav, I think you misunderstood his misunderstanding and in turn, made a bigger misunderstanding about you misunderstanding his misunderstanding of your misunderstanding, thus spiraling into an even greater misunderstanding of replies about misunderstandings and intentions of misunderstandings. Do you understand? This has just been one great misunderstanding about misunderstood people, much like how everyone misunderstands a stud like myself.

You sound like the baseline test in Blade Runner 2049 where I have to repeat the last word in every sentence.

point AND LOL

Going by the sidewall max pressure? Really?
