Holding yard is in the same compound as Webb Dock East - google maps satellite view will be able to show you this.

Its just a matter of when the Patrick car carriers are scheduled to move the cars from the yard to the dealers... this is the unpredictable part - could be a few days to possibly even 1-2 weeks.

EDIT: My tracking last time around showed "Being Prepared for Transport" on 16/07 then "At Dealer" on 18/07 - so only 2 days. I think that's basically the best case scenario. with that in mind you could potentially get it before xmas break... if not I'm informed that most dealers will be working on 27th/28th so they will be able to receive the cars then as well.

I think he cancelled his first one to opt for a different colour or spec or something.
Cancelling is no big deal, they get sold in a heartbeat anyway.

Agree!! NO big deal if Toyota won't or can't supply that Dealer! Walked into the Dealership here this morning, they have THREE unsold 86's but asked me NOT to put anything on any website that would identify them. Seems the Sales guy thinks it's NOT good for someone to go cancel their order and place somewhere else!! Geez man, get over it!! I explained how I came about my GTS and he implied I'd have pushed someone out of the queue to get it, not so!

SO!! mine's off the production line TODAY!!! YEAH!!

Dummy orders? It stands to reason that some dealers could be so bad/arrogant/stupid that they don't have many orders yet still get allocations. TMCA would take unsold cars back to fill existing orders.

I'm heading over there this afternoon, IF they do have three and UNSOLD, I'm going to ask the question HOW? I can understand them having a 'demo'. Like to see them in the 'flesh' first otherwise he's talking *&$%^

Seen a blue GTS with aero around a couple of times since I been down here, sweaar it has QLD rego so have to wait and see next time it goes past, he did screw around and check my MX5 as if he'd seen it before somewhere!
