Supercharging an automatic (AT) FR-S

It's my daily...considering a reliable SC that gets me to about 240 whp and includes appropriate cooling for occasional HPDE events. Looks like an SC kit, installation and tuning should cost me less that 7k.

Please let me know if you have an automatic and you added an SC, or if you work in a shop that installed and tuned an SC on an automatic. Would like to know what to look for...currently interested in Vortech http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/...n.php?pvk=4707

Also, if you know of reputable shops relatively close to NYC that could install and tune, please do tell

My other car for fun and track is a Lotus Elise with an SC...hence an AT for a daily FR-S...it's been 6 months and I want more from my daily :-)

Much appreciated

We actually just finished up one this week (innovate kit with intercooler)
Give our service department a shout for more info if you are interested. We have a lot of customers from NYC, its not too far, we are 20 miles north of philly.
Thanks
James

We did an install of the Vortech setup on a customers automatic FRS as well. It was pretty straight forward physically installing it, had to go back and forth with Vortech a little with the base tune if I recall correctly but got it all sorted out and it seemed to work out well.

@whataboutbob is running an Innovate kit on his AT car. I'm pretty sure he runs quite a few autox events out here. Hopefully he can chime in for you as well.

I would hold out for the procharger kit. It's making 40 whp and 30 wtq over vortech at the same boost and that was just preliminary testing. It's priced pretty close to the vortech just my .02.

Any more info about this? I can't find anywhere saying procharger is making a kit for the twins..
