I've actually noticed way less cops in Suffolk than in nassau... Damn the cops over in oceanside - rvc- and long beach (especially long beach!!) are the worst.
I know if I drive my car to that side of the island to expect a ticket. One for the plate, and one for my tint (hopefully have it done next week)

Yessir. DPA was street "racing" central a decade ago. Now there's way too many businesses there to do that, so it died out and people went either further east or west to "race". People still have meets around the area.

I drive all over the Island for my job, never had an issue with cops. Speed limit+20% and cops don't bother you normally.

Sometimes really late at night, off in the distance I'll hear the faint sound of two cars racing. Not sure if it's on Dpa or not.
Makes me smile a bit, but I always felt like a good place to drag race would be the ocean Parkway lol

when you type words like 'don't' and 'you're' do they come out 'Dont' and 'Youre' for you?? If you ever see a long long road with random speed bumps in it, or even a long road in a urban area, people use to drag race there.

Drag racing was huge in Long Island at one point. But there are still many desolate places where two cars will meet.
