This drives me CRAZY. Not entirely sure how something so simple doesn't work and got past testing.

I actually called Pioneer regarding this and they told me that Toyota requested it to function like that...

Poor sounding stereo - upgrade fixed that
Matte Silver dash - vinyl wrap fixed that
Cup Holder position

I like just about everything else about it. I don't plan on winter driving it, so it should stay special to me even longer..

i HATE the fact that the passenger seat has a sensor that thinks someone is sitting in the seat if even the smallest electronic device is on it.

makes logging with my laptop a pain in the ass... even my cell phone triggers it. most annoying thing about the car imho.

I wish the rear seat was split so I could fold only half of it...

I'm starting to think the seats....headrest is causing my head to shift forward and I already have a bad neck/posture that I'm trying to correct, and there's not enough lower back support in the seats. Don't get me wrong, they're really nice and supportive but it lacks a few things.

Dislikes= nothing!

I wish it had a moon roof/sun roof. I do love everything about it! I also wish it had lumbar support.

I've had the car for a week, and I have already had truck drivers that needed to prove themselves by flying by and driving 5 ft behind me trying to race.

I love almost everything

Wish I had the nav display, of course almost everyone wished it had more power :p

Wish the taillights were completely red and the front headlight assembly blacked out.

More than just the hood was aluminium :p

For now thats all I can think of

Nah, it does not. Because I have to press it for a few seconds (or press a few times) to feel any hint of acceleration that then corresponds to the speedometer increasing 1 mph.

I don't know what to tell you then. Mine works every time.

Maybe something's wrong with mine then. I just drove to and from Charlotte (370 miles round trip) over the weekend and it never adjusted properly, as you claim it does. This is when trying to set the cruise at speeds between 70 and 82 mph mostly. I usually don't even bother anymore. I just cancel the speed I had and then set a new one.

I mean it is what it is; my S2000's cruise control was just as inaccurate in adjustments. Meanwhile my brother's 335i sedan was dead on accurate in 1 mph adjustments.

It's VERY subtle when you tap once. I thought the same thing when I first got it but it takes almost a whole minute to ramp it up the whole mph. I usually tap it a couple times up or down (plus or minus 2-3 mph is usually the adjustment I need) and just wait it out. You can also just step on the gas to accelerate, if you let off it will return to where it was set or you can just tap up to set it at the current speed.

Pressing and holding is the "instant" acceleration where you hold it until you get the desired speed. This is the way it's worked on Toyotas for over a decade (they haven't even changed the mold for the stick).

Agree. Pressing and holding to increase or decrease in a toyota. Or use the pedals and then tap it to set the new speed
