MMMMHMMMMM.....

my goals are 350-400whp, and definitely plan on running over 7psi. Thats good to know about doubling the actuator, but do you know if they offer a upgraded actuator, so we could run e85 at 20+ if we wanted.

Which injectors and pump did you side with ? im eyeballing Deatschwerks 700cc Injectors and their 65c pump, but no one is putting the good/or/bad word out about them.

If you are eyeing 400 whp, you will have to update turbo too. I got Visconti 500 injectors, Visconti Pump. I have the 65c pump unopened at home, waiting to think which one to finally use. None are exactly "drop in" and I've read mixed reviews on that 65c.

We have up to 15psi actuators available.

I'm hesitant to nail down an exact whp at which fuel pump/injectors become necessary, as that is going vary greatly from dyno to dyno, plus whether or not it's a manual or automatic. That's why, as a rule of thumb, we are using that 8psi mark on our turbo kit as a base.

Good to hear on the 15 psi. its an automatic fr-s.

Thats understandable. i just plan on pushing the base to a different level with what you've provided, and what i can buy lol.

Just to be clear this means that you can run up to 8psi on stock pump and injectors with out any issues? Thanks.

Just wondering if we're able to use different turbos with this kit? Was thinking of going a T3 based turbo like a gtx3076 or even a gtx2876r... Have seen some good results with this turbo on our cars...
But I do like the stealth of this kit which is why I wanna mix n match

That's what we've seen so far on the manual transmission. Still testing on the automatic transmission.

I can vouch for deatschwerks. I have had them rebuild 2 sets of injectors for my 240sx back then. They are pretty good with customer service also, so if they warranty their product, you can easily get a replacement if it fails.

If their product fails (pump or injectors), you'll be looking to replace more than just those two items in the case of the DI FA20.

Google "deatschwerks failure" and "deatschwers fire" - you can draw your own conclusions. My experience with them on WRXs / STis have been lackluster and less than stellar. On 240s running NisTune, they work, but by no means are they great IMHO.

My 2 cents.

IMO its fairly obviously if injectors/fuel pump are running incorrectly.

If you cant tell that your fuel injectors or pump are not running correctly, and you continue to abuse the motor, then maybe you shouldn't be replacing the injectors.

(not a personal strike at you Bob)

My experience with them was great and their prices were probably better than now because of the promotional deals they had at the time. No problems functionally.

But I agree with you, There are definitely better options out there.

Agreed, they are obvious when they are not in proper working order.

Unfortunately they don't always fail at a time when harm can be prevented.

In the real world they can fail and you couldn't blink before great damage is done.

You won't always have time to continue abusing the engine.

I was wondering, I live in the area (Lacey), do you guys offer in-shop installation and tuning? Sounds like it would be the superior option to having it shipped and doing it locally.
