I admit I like the extra visibility fogs give to potholes in the city (stronger/longer shadow) and have never owned a vehicle that let me use them in fog without headlights. I've driven in fog bad enough it would have helped twice, so... eh. For some reason that reminds me of the mod I made on my old car to let me run the defrost without the A/C kicking in automatically. So many tweaks I'd like to make... so much invested on trying to compensate for my not-quite-enough driving skills... maybe I'll give up racing and just have fun with the car other ways... but then I'd probably rarely be driving the car, and would prefer the utility of a wagon... if only a 3 car garage fit on the property (the lot is 25 feet wide) |

I have the 4th light from iJDMtoy.com and I got an F1 flasher module on Amazon for like $15. Tied the light bar to the tails and the center triangle to the brakes. Tails are connected to accessory power because I want all 2000 people in my town to know I have Lexon tails

Yeah, small tweaks make a big difference. Love that all my doors unlock with one click instead of two and they stay unlocked longer for when i have to put atuff in the trunk first or whatever. Also, the passenger seatbelt alarm being silent is really nice |

Lift in the garage would mean I couldn't put 2 cars in there side-by-side (maybe if it were one of those single-, so kinda defeats the purpose. The garage is currently at the max allowed width (about 21 feet wide outside wall-to-wall) and I back in right against one wall to make it comfortable to get in/out of both cars, and easier for my wife to get into the garage without lots of back and forth (our alley isn't super wide; add garbage cans and it's narrower...) Maybe if it were a single-post parking lift, but then I'd have to find a new place to put the kayaks... also not sure if I have enough height - the garage door might just sneak over the hood of the BRZ though... |

Ah, another minute difference. There's no requirement for such mechanism here. You just get fined for doing it wrong. If you're not smart enough to say "Oh, I'm terribly sorry officer! I didn't realize that was on! How negligent of me. I promise it won't happen again." |

Such problems to have... which is why I just whine a little here and there. How to get a third car into the equation (for a two-person household) is clearly on the sillier side of problems to have - especially when you consider the fact I use transit to get to work and only drive for fun most of the time... Used to have 3 when we lived in the 'burbs. It's a trade-off. Some day I'll have to move out, because it's silly expensive to live here. While I can, I'll build equity and prepare for the day I no longer have work that supports such a place...
I have neighbors that can't even figure out how we fit two cars in our two-car garage... |
