Tilted like that allows the air intake to line up with the pass through in the rad support while also giving a better angle for the exhaust outlet. And it looks cool.

I'm loving that manifold, equal length or close, no oil pump required, easy access to the turbo, the turbo is away from water and debris... VERY nice work guys.

I'm still waiting for a rerouted/internal wastegate turbo kit. Not a fan of divorced wastegate.

Is there any reason in particular? I've always been a fan of the exact opposite for many reasons

Yea, I had a turbo kit on of my cars once with a divorced wastegate. It sounded like crap and was obnoxiously loud. I still cringe when I hear one in another car. I bought an exhaust to hear it, not a wastegate

/Rant

I know for a fact that they'll have a option to plumb it back in.

Most subie guys like it dumped , and I'm guessing Paul wanted it dumped as well so those wanting the dump could hear how loud it was.

I'm not decided on going turbo, but I'm hoping that'll be an option on this kit, and that this kit isn't prohibitively expensive.

Interesting placement.

What size turbo can you go up to in that space?

Will it cause any heat issues that close to radiator etc?

As for the atmo dumping gate - they sound terrible unless running high boost, otherwise on anything under 15psi it is on gate 24/7, and sounds like you have a massive exhaust leak as soon as you step on the throttle. When running 21-25psi, it sounds fine cos your not ALWAYS on gate.
