Did I put my headlights back together wrong?
So I decided to black out my headlights and they turned out great, except the cutoff looks wrong now. Are the parts of the projector the same left and right or do they have parts unique to each side? I had them all separated by side but I think I may have mixed them up when putting them back together!
Here is what my cutoff looks like from about 6 feet from my garage: I don't recall there being the two little "humps" over each side, is that normal? The cutoff also seems to be higher on the left now as well. Can someone else check there cutoff from about the same distance for me? Or if anyone knows if the guts are the same or different, I may have to pull them back apart. Help please! TIA Last edited by Cade01; 11-21-2017 at 12:15 PM. Reason: Photo Bucket sucks **** |

This might be because you've lost the reflective surface when you blacked it out. That might have an effect on spread.

Normal. I had those both before and after the black out on my headlights.

That is the well documented "squirrel finder". Search it on here.

I didn't tint the lens, I painted the chrome inner part and the mounting ring around the projector. Last edited by Cade01; 11-21-2017 at 12:16 PM. Reason: Photo Bucket sucks **** |

So I pushed them down as far as they would go, they look better but they still slightly have the bumps at the top, nowhere near as crisp a cutoff as retrosmiths. Do you have HIDs? I have the stock standard halogens in mine.
