Fall Meet Up - Oct 20th - Palisades Mall

Talked to @dori. about this at a local meet a few weeks ago. He asked if I was gonna hold another meet up. I said maybe, but seeing how it's getting cooler out, it'd have to be more of an indoor meet up then an outdoor one. The idea got thrown around of maybe meeting somewhere and having lunch/dinner somewhere then perhaps a drive after or something.

Would there be any interest in this? If you are, and if we decide on a date that you're good with, please don't say you'll be there then not show. Last meet had a rough estimate of 20+ people saying they would go but only 5 total showed up.

For those that are interested, there's a pre-meet happening at Table 9 in Cortlandt Manor, NY between 3PM-4PM. We can get lunch/dinner there if you guys want. Their address is:

im down mot likely a sunday would be perfect. Anyone has ever been to grandprix new york?? for kart racing ?? http://www.gpny.com/ . I think it would be a neat way for all members to go for a run

gpny has a pretty nice track. They are gas powered and there is minor variations in road surfaces where one or two turns are concrete allowing you to slide a bit more.
Depends on the date and time as well. Next friday I get to pickup my rims but its in LI, so I'm dreading the 2 hr drive out.

That's the territory of putting together a meet. I used to set up meets for the E30 M3 community. Getting people out can be tough. It's easy for someone to type "Yes" and change their mind.

You gotta give a location, date, and time to get a better gauge of who can make it. Otherwise this thread won't accomplish much.

I've been there a few times. Excellent place with great tracks to race on. Little pricey if you ask me though.

Well, yes, normally I would've posted a date/time/location for event, but I'm more so just getting a feel for interest before we start looking for a place. I was thinking a weekend day in mid October or so.
