Got my enkei tenjin 17x9 +45 last night from tire rack. 245/40/17. Mounted on factory suspension. Rear fist perfectly and i think could fit even 255 but the front was a no go. Front Wheel will touch the suspension. Found out the hardway. Today i drove 120 miles to return merchandise at their warehouse. It was also raining cats and dogs. All good though, got to drive her today. Surprisingly, all four wheels with tire fit nicely in my 86😁😁😁😁 learned something new.

As much as I loved the loud exhaust, my ears were just getting tired of it. Some days when I'd come home my ears would ring. The drone wasn't bad but in traffic it can be obnoxious. Plus, in Pasco Co. (next county north of me) they love to give exhaust tickets. So time for something new.

Personally, I've never understood the draw of a loud exhaust, just for the noise factor, particularly on a street car. I like to hear the engine note, but I don't need to be deafened by it.

Ahhhhh ........ yes, you ARE getting old ........

* ringing in the ears
* irritated by loud noises
* fear of getting tickets

....... what to say.

Don't get me wrong the car was definitely planted, felt like I was driving a vacuum but with it's current power I don't need it haha.

It's little dog syndrome. Making all that noise but can't really do anything.

I was thinking about upgrading my exhaust,but the gains for the money aren't worth it to me. If it were loud and I got an extra 25~30 whp,I'd be all in,but to pay over $1000 for a full setup for less than 10hp,just to sound "cool",well,I'd rather use that money for something else.

there are plenty of fast cars and motorcycles with loud exhausts.
My neighbors sons mustang for example.
My car and bike are both pretty quiet. that way if I decide to get on
the gas nobody knows it unless they see me but I can hear my neighbors
sons mustang a mile away every time he gasses it.
