Top Gear Episode for FR-S/216a?

Anyone else hoping that Top Gear (BBC) will do some kind of comparison review between the FR-S/FT-86 and Subaru's 216a?

I always enjoy watching their reviews and they seem to be very unbiased and fare with every car or company that comes along. I think it would be a good episode to have and good PR, when the expected "2012 spring release" gets closer. Especially since it's Toyota's "come back" affordable sports car I'm really hoping they do decide to have some sort of discussion on it as they did with the Hyundai Genesis (briefly).

...Any thoughts?

Top Gear isn't a car reviewing show its a car entertainment show. The Top Gear guys are very bias against American cars, love British cars and don't actually every provide real review information.

Now had you said Fifth Gear I would agree. Top Gear is all fun no more education on the car

Love Top Gear USA.

After watching Top Gear USA and then watching the original Top Gear, it wasn't until then that I realized how much the British one ragged on anything American, thus sparked the spiral of my opinion of it now. Funny at times still, but it's annoying when it comes to their bias against America.

I like the boisterousness and chemistry of the characters in the Brit version better than the US version. Brit carmakers have gone under but they still talk proudly of their cars and I don't think there's anything wrong with speaking positively of their countrymen. They do make derogatory comments about Americans. But in comical spirit, not seriousness. They give Americans credit when it's due (like when they featured, I think, a '60's Mustang or did a Corvette vs. Ferrari shootout). I think they bash the Japanese, too, but give them praise when it's deserved.

Top Gear shines when they do sports car features. But not when they do stupid challenges on uninteresting cars. That some weaksauce filler stuff.

5th Gear... that's always great.

Anybody watch Wheeler Dealers? They shop for old cars that need work, pour money into fixing them, then flip them, hopefully for profit. Best episodes were when they flipped a Porsche 944, Ford Escort Cosworth, and especially a C4 Corvette and the MkI MR2. I just wish they did a Hachi-Roku.

Have you guys seen the latest seasons?? They make fun of EVERY car manufacturer.. ESP brittish ones.. They always point out how BRITTISH cars are owned by foreign companies..
Funniest comment this season regarding 'brittish' cars was saying the only sporty and brittish thing about the new 'sports' MG was the glue they used to out on the rebadged Chinese/Taiwanese/Vietnamese (some Asian country) car has come from a dead brittish racing horse
Same shit with tvr, jaguar sports etc..

I'm a big fan of all Top Gear episodes... I don't look to them for factual reviews or unbiased opinions though. They are more than welcome to review this car though... its all in good fun.
