Let me bring some bottle water to give out next time. So it is not "dry talking".

I actually had a box of soda in my trunk. I just forgot about them.

@JackSmiley: THANKS for the corned beef sandwich - had to save half for the drive from Hayward to Pacifica, made the drive tasty. And I owe you for the bridge.

@NorCalGirl: pleasure tailing you on PCH. Sorry for the close encounters, I was just trying to get your exhaust tone on the gopro. No worries, I had full control . Besides, your tips and diffuser looked very well fitted. Best use of accommodating the diffuser I've seen yet.

@SC David and photographers: thanks for the pics, they look great. Can I borrow my taillight pic? I thinking I may swap avatar

And everyone else, Thank You all for making a pleasurable drive. Aside the misfortune with the LEOs, I hope everyone had a good time. Bacon was a hit during bfast. Couple parts of La Honda was too tempting to resist. And just the overall atmosphere of enjoying our car and a catheter story (thanks Blaine), drives like this is refreshing. What's next?

Liking the bumper cam, I think I like your higher setup better than mine, more scenery, less asphalt.

LOL I was thinking the same thing, was gonna dub something like that in but I know some people would moan about not hearing engine sound/wind noise instead of the music. IMHO the mic/sound quality sucks on GoPro unless you're interior mounted.

Took just $4 in home depot parts plus part of the GrimmSpeed tow hook plate mount and a GoPro adhesive mount. With few of the GoPro extension pieces it sits just below the headlight, as you can see in the photo David took. (ignore the goofy looking fool next to it)

congrats mike!

our next major DRIVE will probably be after 86EXPO... we may do little Sat morning drives for whoever's free but we'll take a little break. We had some conversations at Alice's about future DRIVES so yeah we definitely plan to do some more cool stuff.

And just to reiterate what I said ... this is a community/volunteer-based group so please feel free to join in and help plan/lead an event. We have lots of enthusiastic drivers so if you call a DRIVE, no doubt many of us will come.

The tunnels were pretty cool, too bad our group was stuck directly behind a semi truck the entire time! Who was behind me in the tunnel??

Can't believe CHP decided to mess w/ our group and dish out a no front plate ticket. I bet you it was just because it was a holiday weekend or some bs.
