That is what I would expect to see. I would also expect the 2867r to build boost sooner and build to peak boost/torque sooner. The question is whether those hundreds of RPM and transient response are worth it or not.

I made 20 or so ft tq more and a lot sooner with my gtx28 than the same car with a gtx30. But he made 20 more peak whp.

At the same RPM you mean? Or what boost level?

I ment peak figures. I made near 400tq around 4500 where he made less at a higher rpm. i think almost 30ft tq less. He made more peak hp though by almost 30whp. Iirc. I remember we were both surprised.

the gtx starts to pull a gap around 12-14psi. a 2871r wouldn't have made quite as much at that boost level.

Quite true.

I dont have the time to wait for a rad to come in. although my trip does take me past Fullblowns shop.

fbm and map are the best, both get parts in time when needed

Highly agree, I've always gotten my parts from LJ faster than seemed possible.

however, being in Canada, they don't have much control over customs. All i can do is hope the leak remains very manageable for a portion of my trip.

Im debating either getting a built motor or getting a gtx3076 and getting retuned

I literally live 5 minutes from e85 station so I have been running e85 straight since I got the kit.
