Hi Folks.

I bought a leftover 2015 Premium (WRB) about a month ago after a long search for a motorcycle replacement. I'm a college professor by trade, but misspent much of my youth building and roadracing a variety of motorcycles. I rode bikes for the better part of 50 years until about 2 years ago when a gal in a Tahoe ran a light and I parked one of my bikes and myself in her left quarter panel. With the help of a very good surgeon armed with an SR-71 sized pile of titanium I'm functional, but getting back on one of the bikes is a risk I'm no longer willing to take. Hence the motorcycle replacement.

I first considered a 996 series 911, but the hassle and expense of feeding one of those nixed that. Next I looked at Miatas of various vintages, but my 6'6" frame can't be shoehorned into one. Finally, I saw a display at the local Costco featuring a BRZ and fell in love. Test drove one, discovered I fit and the rest is, as they say, history. It is, for me, the perfect, elemental sports car. Very little I'd want that's missing, and not much fluff I don't want. Who nu?

Hello All, I've been looking for a new car for months and finally bought a 2016 BRZ Premium yesterday. Don't have immediate plans to start modifying but do want to see what it can do on the drag strip and road courses. I also want to give autocross a try.

Nah man, I feel you. I've been thinking about the car everyday LOL. Only thing keeping me going is the fact that I can save on winter tires and I'll have my summer break in April.

Holy crap, I can't stop thinking about it. Every BRZ I see on the street, I just get hella excited.

Hi everyone! Loving this forum already so thanks for creating it!

This here is my new baby. 2015 BRZ limited MT in dark grey metallic. Only 3 months and about 2,000 miles old. I would have preferred white but this was the only one with a MT within 100 miles and I wanted a dealer car so I could bargain the price as opposed to ordering one. The color has grown on me though.

My previous cars are nothing impressive:
- 1990 Plymouth Sundance AT (it was my grandmother's car)
- 1999 Mazda Protege MT
- 2004 Mazda 3 hatchback MT
- 2014 Mazda CX-5 FWD base MT (I was in an SUV mood)

Really loved Mazdas - I was becoming a bit of a mazda fanboy - and I would have loved an MX-5, but whatever I buy has to be my DD, and I just couldn't picture DDing an MX-5, so I was kind of "steered" towards the BRZ as a slightly more practical alternative. Boy am I glad. The more I read about the car the more I wanted one. I absolutely love it!

I DD this car but I keep it inside the garage at night, unless it has salt from snowplows on it then it will be staying outside, at least until it can get washed. So first I want to put a little money into making my garage nicer, and then I might think about swapping the intake and exhaust, maybe some UELs down the road. Truth be told though, I'm very happy with it completely stock.

PS, it seems silly to me that you guys split the forum between BRZ and FR-S. Aren't they the same car???

Have just turned over 1000 miles on my '16 Hyper Blue. I owned a '13 Limited in WRB, took a break from the BRZ for a bit and decided I missed it. So I got a new one.

Hey I bought my Hyperblue BRZ 2 days ago. I can already tell this community is pretty awesome.
I came from being a 2005 Mazda RX8 owner.

Just got my WR Blue Limited 6MT BRZ about 2 weeks ago. Came from a 2007 Miata. Really enjoying the new wheels.

Hey guys! I'm new to the forums and just got my BRZ for Christmas. I'm in love with this car! I can't stop driving. She's a new 2016 Subaru BRZ Crystal White Pearl. Happy to be part of the family!
