I wonder if you read the above post? You will get the Ceramic Coating (guess how much value?? yep... $600) so what's the news? For more information, look at the bolded part.

The news is that it will no longer be a $600 "option".

It's a big price hike, I agree. But we don't make the kits 1 at a time, our factory is pumping them out, well, like a factory. (and yes, it's our own factory). So we had to make a decision to start doing them all ceramic, or leave the ceramic as an option and pull parts out and get them ceramic coated afterwards. Which would have been more expensive.
So with the clear majority of current orders (current shipment, March shipment, May shipments) being with ceramic coating, we made the hard decision to make with ceramic the standard, and without ceramic the option.

Thanks for the quick reply then. I would probably order a kit with ceramic regardless. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

There is no reason to ever pay more than $625 shipped for an EcuTek license and cable.

so without ceramic the price still remains at $3.800?
why do I think "no ceramic" won't be an option soon?

Because that is exactly what he just said. Ceramic will be mandatory and price will be 4400

Correct.

EcuTek licenses are $250.

EcuTek Cables are $350.

Then you have shipping.

We will have without ceramic coating as an option for the original price, it's just become a special order item, instead of the ceramic coating being the special order.
