not trying to thread jack, but if you had to guess, what do you think the starting price will be on the new supra?

There's not a lot of room in the price to put much more into it. A special LE model or something I could see. Radical improvements for the base model... I don't see in the cards.

At least in the neighborhood of Evo MR money. High $30K, low $40K to start.

Interdasting... Looks like all parts we already have available, however.

That's gotta be a mistake. Who would be on a waiting list for ten years lol

I thought Australia was a 1 year wait (not 3 as the article suggests). Something doesn't sound right.

Third world countries that have affluent people though the demand for the vehicle vs supply wouldnt warrant exporting the cars to their countries just yet.

Pretty much everything in this article is untrue. The author's even worse than Romney.

There is NO engineering prototype for 2014. The FR-S will stay the same for at least 5 years, maybe more. Tada-san was talking about options and upgrades to the standard FR-S. He was saying that the car was capable of losing 220lbs without much modification. It's all lies. Why would they replace the satnav with TRD gauges on the standard FR-S? The author is an absolutely clueless moron who doesn't know what he's talking about.

That doesn't constitute a "waiting list" though, that is simply the availability is not in their country yet...different reasons completely.

Point being, you can't have a REAL 10 year waiting list. The car won't be in production (in its current form) in 10 years.

The reviewers did not seem very impressed with the upgrades. It seemed almost like they deemed it a "necessary evil" to keep the car appearing fresh to the consumer.

The best news I got out of that was that the upgraded package would only cost $26K. That is a hell of a bargain if it includes new wheels, better tires, some weight reduction, different exhaust and chassis stiffening for a little over a grand.

Thanks Toyota employee/Tada.. ohh wait....

I agree of no major changes BUT most of you were not around (or don't remember) when an article with an interview SuperSpeeders(?) had with Tada

He said that the FR-S was going to be evolving and changing every year
