how'd you find out that hasn't filed the ticket yet? was yours marked as non-correctable too?

Bunch of my buddies have been getting tickets recently. We were having a late dinner the other day, noticed a cop circling around a couple times. Our cars were parked next to the curb and when we left....BAM! Front plate and tint tickets all around.

You can check your ticket status online. The clerk at the courthouse said the online system was just as up to date as if you called in and inquired.

https://ww2.lacourt.org/trafficos2/ui/searchOLN.aspx

You can also search by ticket number.

Yea, but you should still show up on your court date so you have proof of appearance. Its just a precaution in case they do file later down the road. You'll have something to show them that you tried to take care of it.
