Local dealer will do 20% off list so I just went ahead and ordered everything from them since over the Internet I think most will charge a decent shipping amount due to the package size.

My driver side panel is fubar anyways so it needed replacing.

I posted this the same time as you vroom4, $225 shipped is a good price for the whole package.

Anyone know if the Bayson R replica STI lip/skirt kit is a replica per SCCA's definition? i.e. is the Subaru stuff ABS plastic (trusting that the dimensions are the same)

I don't see why it wouldn't qualify.

I had the Bayson R stuff .. the sideskirts fit like crap.. and the way they attached was not sturdy at all. the front lip was ok... I decided to put the OEM Sides on since they attached ALOT better than the Bayson Stuff. Not knocking them.. just wasn't as sturdy as I would have liked for Autocross.

For Ref: Bayson R kit

Factory OEM
Much more Sturdy and fits ALOT better.. Spend the extra money..its well worth it

My battery is dead dead. Any feedback on lightweight set-ups you guys are running? I need something I can still DD. So far all I've found is the 11 Braille kit on FT-86 club. Can I just buy the battery without the rest of that stuff the kit has?? TIA!

Your car looks so bare without the race prep stickers.

Depends on what you want to spend... 3.5lb lithium's are common now with up to 700 CCA... But be prepared to pay..anywhere from 200-400 bucks.. I am using a 3.5 lb 500 CCA Ballistic 16 Cell. Anti-Gravity has the 700 CCA for like $400.. Again..depends on what you want to spend.

I also recently installed a Shorai KC Machine kit. 6.4lb total weight and it looks great.

I use my cell phone with the Torque app to record runs. I have a headrest mount with a gimbal attached and a clip mount to hold the phone.

Is it preferred to have a detachable arse? I suspect it'll be handed to me Sunday...

Too many parts (coilovers, tires) not yet in my possession, this'll be all about driver calibration. Hopefully lack of proper camber won't eat PSS too badly... I haven't run since 2003, confirmed when I dug up the trophy I got at regionals... That was STS and FWD, this is gonna be fun!

I might install the bbk if time permits, really have an oddly balanced (parts-wise) setup. Hah. Money in all the wrong places. Too much on the car to run stock.
