Can you swap the fender piece?

So, I like the FRS, but I prefer the BRZ's insert at the top of the fender in front of the side mirror. Is that OEM swappable?

Since these cars pretty much share parts, I'm sure you'll be able to do a simple swap of the inserts. The aftermarket field will probably offer something for the insert as well. So sit back and relax with the popularity of these cars I'm sure you'll see something you like.

Just having a REALLY hard time deciding between the 2 cars....

Things I like....

FRS
- Better front bumper (it looks more aggressive and i like the fog light enclosure a lot more)

BRZ
- Headlights
- Leather/Alcantara Package
- Fender insert
- Push button start
- Dash (i prefer the silver in the BRZ over the CF on the FRS)

I'm guessing it would be best to just get the BRZ limited and then swap out the front bumper if I wanted to. Probably gonna get white with black wheels, then add the duck bill spoiler from the TRD.

Guess we'll see what June brings. Hopefully I can check both out in person and choose from there.

White with black wheels is going to look tight. Do you think black wheels will be an option? If not, I guess you could have the stock alloys powder coated black.

I too like the FRS front end better, but only the EU and JDM versions. IMHO, I think the USDM version looks cheap. That plus all the positives you stated above, the BRZ Limited is it for me. Although that TRD version makes me want to punch a baby in the face, because I want it so bad. LOL

i doubt it'll be an option. powder coating them black IS an option, but depends on cost of a new set of black rims vs powder coating.

true, that cheap plastic grill does look kinda lame. i just love the harder lines and corners. i'll probably get the BRZ limited too, since it has more pros. white with black rims!

+1

White BRZ limited with black wheels. Specifically, Enkei NT03+m in hyper black:

http://www.enkei.com/nt03m.html
(hover over the pic for hyper black)

Potentially an STI lip, if they become available, and TRD sideskirts/rear bumper?

edit: anyone know what offsets will be needed for the BRZ? I wonder if the enkei's will fit correctly right away.
edit2: answered my question by looking in the wheel forum. looks like +30 thru +45 would be fine... should be fine for the sizing I'm looking at.

Isn't the front bumper of the FR-S and the 86 exactly the just minus the fog light and LED headlight on the FR-S?
