The only real reason we had two in a row was my ex got clobbered at a traffic light by a pickup truck full of drunk 14 year olds (yes, really).. The car was absolutely pulverized but had remarkably little front passenger compartment intrusion. If anyone had been in the back seat though, they'd probably be dead.. No complaints with the car in general, although we didn't keep the second one for too long.

I was on them when they first started up so long ago. Wasn't as easy as it is now.

I was actually pretty surprised to see how many are popping up in these lists. Notice it is all the 'older' guys though.

I owned 2 around the year 2005, and might buy another one soon. I'm only 29, so I still have 1 year left before I'm considered old.

Wish I could find a well running, reasonably priced Chrysler Laser (not Plymouth). I'd buy it for nostalgic reasons, of course. It was my first car, but it also had a number of weird things...such as, taking hard corners caused it to shut off, lol...not fun unless you expect it. I also had to have the rear lights running on a switch (brake lights worked). Needless to say, wiring was ... problematic.
