It is absolutely a restriction above 7000 rpm because unbolting the axel back causes the power to maintain >200whp from 6400 to 7800 (no drastic drop off).

Mine with stock starts to tail off after peak whp at 6750.

Wait... you unbolted the axleback at the dyno? So it's only the muffler causing the restriction?

Yes. This is the one we did last month on the dyno jet untuned. This was running pig rich with the axelback disconnected.

Toma's dyno reads a full 10 HP less than this dynojet. Based on that our dynojet number is maybe ~217hp now and we fixed that horrible dip (at 3000-4250 rpm) down low that we had when we were untuned.

See below dyno from last month with 4 5kw compressor UNTUNED with muffler delete. After tuning yesterday that dip is gone and we now have a nice HUMP to >190 wtq

Interesting... I always thought the muffler was pretty free flowing. At least thats what nameless said. BTW- Did you ask toma about my question?

I'm not a tuner, Turbo guys are pressurizing 6-10 psi @ low rpms.

I was pleased to see the boost gains with the upgrades, once the engine accepts the increase with some more tuning from us and other testers....it will be spectacular.

Thanks Toma & Fenton.

Free flowing when you don't have boost and are below 200 whp, yes i agree.

Once over 200whp it appears it becomes a restriction on the very top end.

That way, someone could come along with necessary ECU code to send that info along to the ESC controller.

Nobody needs 10psi at 800rpm

How about 8psi @ 1800 rpm?

That is when installed before a positive displacement supercharger on a different engine.

Blue is just the PD supercharger, green and red are when the person added the ECS before the supercharger.

As you can see when using the larger blower the pressure ratio stack nicely!

Haha I realized that and just deleted my post once I realized it was moot - had me on the edge of my chair for a minute

I would really also question the mid pipe, that second CAT I would say is more of the cause than the over pipe. I actually just sold my SRT HB exhuast and will be stock for the winter, then next year I will order likely the Motive over and mid pipe (Catless) and remain with the stock catback for a while.

I have a catless mid pipe so I'm interested in knowing what would happen.
