I use this one, I'm not sure how much different it is from Chemical Guys.

As for products, I love chemical guys, I have used other soaps in the past and I can't go back. I use this in my foam cannon, but I'm sure anything would work.

I use that same exact soap with it, no issues at all.

I've tried using CG's orange quick detail, and I noticed that it weakened or removed my Collinite wax. After that, I never wanted to use their products again. LOL. I've always had success with Meguiar's products. Everything but the Swirl-X (probably would work with a DA) and I don't like their NXT wax. Mutes the paint imo...way too reflective.

Looks like I have another foam gun to look into now tho. LOL

Sweet! Extra points for it then. Do you use it as a pre-wash/soap and/or actual wash/soaping? How foamy does it get with GC (and how much soap do you fill)?

I use it in the foam cannon to cover the car, and then I use it in the wash bucket as well for the actual wash. It gets pretty damn foamy, but not as good as some of the dedicated soaps designed to produce thick foam. I'd say I use about 2-3oz of GC in the foam cannon and the rest water, you don't really need much.

I think I've found the perfect pre-soaker...too bad I don't think they sell this here tho.

[ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkZ5T5QrgUA"]Gloria Foam Master FM10 + MG Gold Class Shampoo (1:50) - YouTube[/ame]

This style would actually work best for me since all of the foam guns don't have a very strong jet rinse, so that means I'd have to swap hose heads. I like to jet rinse my wash mitt in between panels. No scratches/swirls (I don't wash in circles), and there's barely any debris in my buckets by the time I'm done washing the car and wheels. Yes, I'm that anal about washing my car. Two buckets, two wash mitts (one for the body and one for wheels only), two Absorbers (body and wheels).

I jet rinse my wash mitt between panels/sections as well. I just use the same nozzle that the foam cannon I linked comes with. The foaming canister has a quick release, and I find the regular jet nozzle it comes with provides more than a strong enough water jet.

BTW your detailing/washing posts are making me hate the fact that I have to park outside and that I haven't washed my car since June of last year. (I'm THAT lazy)

I might end up going with the Gilmour that Troy posted. It's the only one I'm seeing videos on YT on. lol. Looks to be same as the Autogeek/Pinnacle/Wolfgang. Same style nozzle, bottle, and hose head. Although it's about 10 bucks less??? One of the videos had Meg's GC, and it foams up quite nicely. I'll test it out and see how I like the jet stream in comparison to the hose head I have now.

I park outside too, and after two weeks of not washing my car, I start getting anxious (I usually wash once a week).

Don't worry Drew, haven't touched my car since Kamaka detailed it last year, so we're just doing our part

I've washed my car like 3 times in that timespan and park outside under trees. What I really need right now is a claybar tbh. But I'm lazy and Alameda is far to put @Kamakanani0 to work. Lol
