Not sure why that makes them "f***ed".

I was within 1% on both prices

BRZ does look prettier now.

It's $1315 more expensive than the FR-S.

I dunno, adding that destination cost bumps the car over to $26,000. Makes me feel a whole lot better being under $25,000 with destination for the FRS. Just means less money down for the payment I want.

For real, I am extremely happy with the price (obviously lower price never gets old but I find it fair).
I dunno. I remember the initial announcement YEARS ago that they wanted the goal to be under 20K. Considering the time since, the government trying to crush the dollar's value in the past few years, and inevitable price creep, mid 20s seems to be right on the dot.

I used to like the Toyota front end more. In person the Subaru is far better IMO. Opinions will vary of course.

I like the fact that BRZ and FR-S pre-orderers are happy. No need for everyone to like the same car. To each his own.

Thought Autoblog said the price includes handling fee.

That's with both dest charges.

25,495 + 750 = 26,245

26,245 - 24,930 = 1315

Awesome news with pricing. As this model succeeds I expect it to become even more affordable.

I think old greg's comment has to do with people being willing to drop another grand for the Subaru with HID and NAV. This obviously isnt totally true for the tuner market, but for the more popular general sales these types of items get noticed and make sales.

So wait, Autoblog says the 25,495 DOES include destination. Is this true?

That appears to be incorrect according to the press release.
