i put the car on stands last night and got the berk hfc and perrin cbe installed.

if i were to rate the sound on the basis of volume with 1 being stock and 10 being your exhaust, i would honestly peg it at a 3. its very quiet but still sporty. it gives it the exhaust note it was missing without being overbearing. i probably could have gotten away with a test pipe or the un-resonated version My GF said "it doesn't even sound any different" but she also doesn't drive the car... silly girls.


Also the other thing i wanted to say was is the philly guys started a facebook group for local 86 owners. we should get a pittsburgh facebook group started.

Alright, well let's shoot for tuesday. I wanna hear this exhaust. I'm surprised it's so quiet even with an aftermarket front pipe. I just figured all these systems were so quiet because they were catbacks and not headerbacks like mine. If I like the sound maybe I'll do the unresonated version then.

it might be a total pain in the ass to get to that spot on a Tuesday at that time with all the rush hour traffic and all that jazz. i will have to drive downtown to get my girlfriend from school. I am not really sure where else we could all go though. I will probably only hang out for an hour or so because i will be with the gf. will have to bait her out with promises of dinner and drinks lol

I was trying to think of somewhere on Mt Washington because it would make for some badass pictures (especially if BRZerk brings his sweet camera), but parking would be tough.

northshore has some good views of the other side of the city as well. i just don't know where we could meet. penn brewery might work? maybe too busy. they have a parking garage that overlooks the burgh
