Got 2000 to spend

So I'm going to dip into my savings and pull out 2000 for mods. I have a 2014 firestorm frs all stock except for invidia n1 catback exhaust. I'm thinking injen intake and ecuteck stage 2 tune from fa20club to start. Any other suggestions?

You need to do A LOT more research if the best start you could come up with was an Injen intake and anything from FA20Club.

Hey man, 2K is a good budget. I've done a decent amount to my car already and if I had to do it all over again, I'd start with headers (OFH or JDL or wait for Tomei) and an OFT. That'll knock 1K out. I would then do wheels, something light if you want to track/autox like RPF1's. Although, tires would knock you out of your budget.

Also, skip the intake and just get a drop-in filter for now, one of the best bang for buck mods.

You may want to look at what parts are required to go along with a stage 2 tune. Also, don't pull money out of savings for a car mod.

You can spend 1.5K on just a header, if you look hard enough. Another 1K on a cat-back, 600 on Nameless' op/fp combo, and bam. Too much money spent on exhaust.

I guess it depends on your goals.

If you are going to track your car or auto X, in my opinion wheels and tires are probably the single best mod beside being a better driver.

if you wanna look cool(or like a douche) in front of strangers. Then go ahead and get some cheap coilovers and tire/wheel combo.

2g is not much to enlarge any e-peen on car forums in terms of power.

all depnends on what tickles your prostate.

I spent 2k on just a cat back. :P

so cat-back 2k, ft86 uel 965 ish, FP/OP was like 700 bucks? Can't remember exactly.

Still have to get license/cable and dyno time so thats at least another 1300 for a proper tune for my exhaust....

FT86 header? Hell naw, man! HKS! It's something like 1.4K on its own.

I can't afford to play HKS' reindeer games.

Actually the HKS boxer package is not a bad deal.

HKS UEL Catted header, HKS Legamax premium exhaust and a tune for like 3k. something like that.

i say OFH/OFT combo, an oil cooler, and any left over, a set of swift or RCE springs.

where would you suggest someone pull money from? Credit card? I take money from savings precisely for things that I have been saving up to buy.
