I've got about 40 minutes of footage (from the 1st photo stop to the junction) taken with my Contour cam mounted less than a foot off the ground on my front right bumper panel

[ame]http://youtu.be/zLu81woKFJk[/ame] (untreated - very shaky)

[ame]http://youtu.be/0dyJ5_vajEw[/ame] (w/ youtube video stabilization)

If anyone wants to use any of it in a trailer or movie project let me know and I'll figure some way to send the raw video file

Dammit I wish I could have gone, but of course I had to get a nasty fever all weekend... Pics are awesome though. Definitely want to hit up Mines Rd. soon, still haven't done it in a car!

Not at all! That drive back was the perfect speed to get in a balanced rhythm without feeling like we were pushing too hard. Just what I needed at the end of the day when I was tired. Now, the 1hr drive from the 880 interchange into SF that succeeded our cruise...not my cup of tea.

I hear ya man, sitting on the freeway in traffic heading back was so rough coming off that little bit of adrenaline bump.

Nice vids! I'm still reluctant to use the video stabilization on YT... feels like it does weird stuff to the image that bothers me more than the shaky cam version.

^^This..Try driving another hour home on boring highways. Could hardly stay awake my adrenaline was crashing so hard.. On the same note, since I was the guy following you this drive,I was wondering if any footage of mycar was good enough to make it worth getting the raw footage frm you sometime?

Checked out your website and saw that you guys sell a HKS legamax exhaust. Been eyeing one for awhile, but got to wait a bit longer for it. Going on a family trip in May so saving up for that first. But when I'm ready, ill be contacting you guys.

Unfortunately, the fish eye on the go pro makes it look like you're really far away, but there are some sections where you get a nice tight view of your car (and others behind you). I tried to put most of that in the vid I made, but I can get you the raw footage if you want it. Pm me your email and maybe I can send it to you.

Kind of wish I had joined you guys for the Mt Hammy portion. But it was getting late and I was expected home for dinner... But it sounds like everyone had fun on the return leg from the Junction, regardless of which route they took.

random thought... I know it's overly generalizing, but you could almost stereotype the car colors to regions of the Bay Area. Black/Asphalt = South Bay. Blues = East Bay. Reds = CentralValley. White= everywhere haha

You're so right! This picture is so mesmerizing. I don't have the right PS skills, but if anyone wants the image, I would be very happy to pass it to the right hand!

Mt Hammy was delicious! Not too many cyclist and very few slow Priuses
