EcuTek continues their commitment to the BRZ/FRS/GT86 platform!
It’s been a while since I talked about EcuTek and their development progress on this platform.
EcuTek is working on some really great updates, including something that will improve ECU Recovery on a failed flash! Here’s a little teaser: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pz4j4i14Wwk&feature=c4-overview&list=UUQghxM8se-RzW8GFUcRjjjw"]EcuTek Continues their BRZ/FRSGT86'dev work - YouTube[/ame] As most of your know there are several tuning options for the BRZ/FRS/GT86 … EcuTek, BRZEDIT, UNICHIP to name a few and possibly more in the pipeline. Although these other new, old, or upcoming products are good for the advancement of this platform just remember that EcuTek is committed to making this cars the best they can be. -John |

Looks great. Love that they're working on an easier solution to recover from failed flashes, that's huge.
Any info on whether they are working on any new tools for you tuners to help apply batch updates to multiple maps simultaneously as opposed to having to apply them one by one? I imagine that something like this would have been extremely helpful in pushing out the injector fix. |

That's awesome! I wonder if they have tunes for the SC from Vortech or the new TC from Greddy for automatics.

All my tunes have had it for over a month now. Although I do agree that being able to to apply the same update to multiply tune files would be nice Quote:
I in fact support both and have tuned serveral vortech super chargers and Greddy Turbo kits |

Hopefully they can work on some tools for the tuners in the near future to make mass-updates easier so that tuners like you can spend time making these cars better instead of doing tedious manual data entry. |

Tell EcuTek to allow users to save preset log parameters so you don't have to go through the list and check off the ones you want every time. I know its minor, but it drives me nuts lol.

thank god
Seriously, I know its minor, but from a user standpoint and someone that does a lot of data logging, its really nice to be able to have this function. Its why I love Cobbs Accessport so much. That and the ease of switching maps amongst many other things but i'm comparing apples to oranges. |

EcuTek hired serval new people now and are trying to get things out the door faster. There's no expected date for this feature but I know it's coming. If you have anymore ideas or input please feel free to put it in here John |
