Too bad, it would take a nuclear blast to destroy those green belts. They are used on garbage trucks, 18 wheelers that have more torque than 20 FRS.

does anybody know what could be the issue if my belt is just getting tore up? when I looked inside a lot of the belt shreds were caught up in the back centerish of my compressor. it's only getting tore up on one side of the belt, towards the rear of the car and my friend suggested it could just be the compressor sitting not close enough?

Obviously I need to change the belt so I might as well change the pulley too. does anybody have alternatives? I'm open for smaller pulleys too.

I will post it up after I get it in with the pulley and intake pipe.
Turbowski and I will be dying in the heat doing a belt swap video.

Take a good hard look at the pulleys for any wear, namely the one in question here. If you can post up some pictures it will help greatly to see anything obvious. How many miles do you have on your kit, did you do the install yourself?

Sounds like a belt alignment issue....

Verify that the pulley below the discharge pipe that goes directly into the throttle body is good, and from there I would doublecheck the supercharger/bracket assembly mounting to make sure it is mounted properly

We should meet up and compare our kits. I would like to see if we installed every the same way, might be able to figure out what's wrong.

this is what I pulled out, and the damage of the belt. I didn't get a picture of where it was collecting, I'll try to get that later.
