Agreed, its a night and day difference. Shifting feels so good and short with the manual.

Any Canadian dealer should service it. If your selling dealer offers free loaners, you might not get it elsewhere.

I actually went into a Scion and Subaru dealers in the States past weekend. Both told me they will service Canadian cars but for warranty work, you have to take it to Canada.

I know people who take their BMW to the States to get service (4 year free maintenance) and reimbursed by BMW Canada. Not sure if Scion or Subaru will do that.

Was this really in stock? I'm waiting for the exact same car right now with a hopeful August ETA.

FYI,
If you or your parents brought their toyota in the past, make sure you ask if there are loyalty program(credit if you service at their dealership) available. I got 80+ dollar off on the final price, b/c my parents brought a camry from them before. It applies to DVN and markville.

That's a good price, rather go for this unit over the factory upgrade.

Subaru Barrie

Ordered my WRB MT6 Sport-tek from Barrie Subaru mid July. They had a white model in stock and were trying to swap it out with another dealer for the blue one. I called my sale rep today and he told me he didn't find anyone to trade with. Now I have to wait 2-3 months until my car arrives from Japan.

Adam.

Agreed that does suck. Would be nice to have some kind of normal communication that Scion/Subaru sets up at a corporate level for order status.

It would be a great value add! You get status from small online orders these days when you order most things

Has anyone signed/put down a deposit for an FR-S around mid-July in the GTA and have already picked up the car?

Yes I totally have picked up my car!

In my mind that is....

No I have not. Deposit in on July 5th and no VIN so far.
I would love to hear some stories of recent deliveries from people who put their deposit down in June/July.
