Oh I didn't even notice the black next to the vents! haha Yeah, plus that red stripe, I could see how it would look more recessed.

There appears to be a red strip along the front center grill. Along with the dark lighting it seems like it is recessed more.

Didn't even notice them till I read ur post, it's amazing how much that little black area along with the red strip achieved visually.

For those who have the STI fender garnish, is it worth it? Debating on purchase... What is the final cost shipped from Japanparts?

Whether it's worth it or not is really subjective...

The final cost for me was around $360 CAD more or less after shipping and etc... Not sure how much that is in USD.

I meant more as in if everyone was happy with the purchase despite the cost. I saw elsewhere stateside listed for $325 shipped, just figuring out where the best place to get them will be. I don't mind buying from JP but it's always a pain in the ass because I'm never home to sign for the package.

Did anyone purchase the larger rear Axle yet? I know it's supposed to reduce the vibration from accelerating to give a better "response and feeling" when accelerating but I was wondering how much of a difference it made.

From the few reviews I've read on it, people have said that t was not an extremely noticeable difference. One reviewer said that even though he knew it was an upgraded part that he was disappointed as he did not feel a difference. Now that's just what I've read and everyone is different, but "your milage may vary".

thanks, i wouldn't expect a night and day difference but i guess i was looking for a more astute observation of the benefits. it's honestly the #2 mod i'm looking to do to my car before i go the rice route.

I've never heard of an axle improving "feel" unless the original axle was shot...

Thats more of a reliability/able-to-hold-more-power upgrade.

I don't really have anywhere else to post this and didn't want to start a thread just for this.

$5.30 at the dealer. FT86 speed factory charges $12. Can be had for as cheap as $2.56 online + shipping.
