I wouldn't trade my TQ250 for a TQ300. I much prefer low end power then top end rush. There is no way I'd trade the gains I'm getting between 2500 and 4500 rpm for better power from 5500 to 7500. I don't spend enough time at those rpm's to jsutify the trade.

Now if you can get TQ250 low-end power from the TQ300...

It will actually make more when its done Tue reason it doesnt is the incorrect MAF readings. You can actually see in my last test we were able to hit 180tq at 3000rpm...about the same as tq 250 even though the readings were a little wonky. Now below 3000 is where the tq300 is below the 250 because of the readings

Stop it! I'm perfectly happy with my TQ250. [inserts fingers into ears] I can't hear you.

Tq300 is a ways away don't worry. At least next summer I think. Great thing about this product is its modular. You can just swap the 300 in if you so choose to.

This is assuming that you have a control box that can handle 4.5kw.

I don't know, I usually feel the same way, but seeing as how the car was built to be driven in the upper rpms, it feels like the 300 would come closer to just enhancing the factory design as opposed to reinventing the powertrain.

A question for Fenton:

With all the work and technical shifts in this system... the stuff has come along great for putting more power down! Nobody cares about this, but.. how has the fuel economy worked out? It's possible/likely that you really don't give a darn about this, but since we are all likely to be running high octane, to safe things up, whats the story on pulling air through a 2", compressor outlet/restricter for the daily driver? Same, slight drop, drop mainly due to lots of fun at WOT? Any info?

I've noticed no change in my fuel economy. That's one of the advantages of WOT only.
