Did they improve handling in any way?

Also, I'm looking to add the strut tower bar also. What is your opinion on the STI one, was there any noticeable difference?

Anyways, waiting for your reply
Actually I think you should get the strut tower bar first as the car will turn in more readily on command. The pink springs imo actually allow the car to roll more readily when driven hard, so not sure about less body roll really. Once you have the strut tower bar, then add the draw stiffeners and it will mimic that 4 wheel double wishbone hunker down feeling mid corner.

TRD now has a dampen v-bar setup that goes with the draw stiffeners if you want to stay with Toyota.

Thanks for the information. I'm going to stick with getting the Pink springs first just because apart from improving handling, it also makes it look better visually haha.

Than I'm doing the STI Strut Tower bar & maybe these draw stiffeners that you both are recommending. They sure are pricey though lol.

Lastly will be the Fujitsubo Catted Header and a custom tune afterwards to finish my car

p.s Get a build journal started, I want to see your car Krayzie

Anyways, congratulations on finding the TS badge DSOmegaX!

Maybe I am wrong, but I think that the draw stiffener works most on high speed corners where there is a significant tension on the chassis. The stock car feels a bit weak in this area and you might feel some flexing. On the contrary, the strut tower bar is much cheaper and the effect is noticeable on any type of corner. Value for money, I think the strut tower bar is a better choice.

You can check also the Australian Subaru site, where there are official translations of both parts: https://www.subaru.com.au/brz/accessories

Previews, actually not really.

Making some small additions to the car overall but before that happens, I wanted to correct the defects on my front bumper, which means I had a new bumper fitted. This is now a waiting game as I want to have the clear bra reinstalled, so the long long 30 days begins before everything goes on. But I think people will be pleasantly surprised with what's going to be added.

I'm really interested in following this build and it actually inspired me to get the BRZ. Just curious, whats the estimate so far with everything purchased?

I would say that you need deep pockets. However, keep in mind that some parts in DSOMegaX's car are not contained even in the actual tS car (2013 version). For example the whole exhaust was completely stock. The STI muffler was available as an option.

Just those Fujitsubo baller parts are already super expensive! Love x Price Shock relationship for me lol

I know @Mr.Impreza spent a lot of money just for the Fujitsubo Catback & Front Pipe. So yeah... @DSOmegaX build is going to be GTR territory with all the STI parts lol

I would say its been easily in the 15k-20k range. It would be for sure if not more if I needed to include labor costs. All I can say really is good luck haha. It's definitely not the best financial decision

An old v. new comparison of the GT wings (also when I have time to kill at work I waste time by trying to mimic a photo):

New extensions look great without the fog lights, finally got that perfect fitment. Also, I just put on my flexible v-bars and noticed in your picture (and others) that they start to get scorch marks due to their proximity to the piping. Is this a common issue? I am trying to prepare myself now for the future marks....=(

Having both the gt wing and the little lip spoiler really throws me off. Looks kind of cluttered.

Part of me likes the new design better, while the other part of me likes the simplicity of the older design.

From what I could see, it eventually happens. I don't think there's really much you can do about it. I've taken a look at other v-bars on cars in general and it seems to occur. It's just more prominent on the STI bars since the rubber cover is right there.

It does look a little odd when you're looking at the pairing from an above angle, but from profile or rear I love it. I just really don't like how the trunk itself tapers.

Darn. It is what it is, I suppose. Good to know it occurs on other bars as well.
