So where do you expect this information to come from? I am nearing 10,000 miles of forced induction on my car with no direct injectors issues. There is never going to be a point where you can say that adding forced induction is 100% fullproof. If you can't afford to rebuild your motor or fix any damage that may occur, then it is probably better to pack up your turbo/supercharger kit and sell it to someone else. The point of this thread is that just because everyone and their brother on this site is "hearing popping" now or thinks they have this issue doesn't remove the fact that there are a bunch of us who don't have that issue and are enjoying our forced induction cars currently.

I never said you are wrong, but to make a blanket statement saying there are tons of FI cars and tons of miles of testing is misleading. Can you really quantify that number and the number of miles?

All I am saying is be careful, we are far from knowing everything about this car's long term issues.

Well a ton is 2,000 lbs so there are at least 2,000 miles worth. I might have been misleading in stating there are 2,000 FI cars out there. The guy has a 2 week vacation. I say enjoy your vacation and get that kit installed.

And I have 2 weeks off soon, I am torn if I should install or not with all these injector issues going on or wait? Maybe get a oil cooler/radiator and install at the same time? *ill be installing them regardless*
Do you have this bad boy installed yet?

There is only one place to be on the 10th and that is the 86 Nationals in Kentucky?

So @dabocx did you ever get all the Full Blown turbo kit pieces from Toni @FA20Club? What fuel pump did you end up getting from him? I ask that, because I went to help work on @Frs300's car this weekend and what did I find in the back seat but the Full Blown intake for your turbo kit. What intake are you running on it currently? I would be more than willing to ship it to you, haha.
