I'll be there in the FRS, probably around 8:30'ish. I might swing out to Retama on Sunday in the Miata if the weather holds up.

@Extreme86 So the 'modding' beast in me has awakened. It seems that I now spend time trying to find out what to modify while keeping the car 'stock looking'. Sort of a 'you don't know what's under my hood, but ill prove you when the light changes'... Anyway, you get my point. I've been debating on a lightweight crank pulley... Perrin is the one that pops up all the time, so I'm guessing its the leading pulley on the market. However, I've been reading on concerns of the probability of throwing of the balance and what not... You've had it for a while... What's your impression? Any possible harm (assuming its installed properly, of course)

I ran into @mx5_2nr yesterday. He convinced me to go to C&R tomorrow. Hope to meet many of you all tomorrow.

There's alot out there to read on the subject for sure. My understanding is that the light weight crank pulley reduces the rotating mass of the engine making it feel a bit more peppy. It does not add horsepower. The heavier OEM pulley does have a rubber insert which presumably dampens vibrations. Both pulleys have nothing to do with "balancing" the crankshaft. I subscribe to the belief that the lightweight pulley has no ill effects on the engine. I did the Perrin pulley and Airaid intake at the same time and liked the result. I was running the stock exhaust at the time. It is an easy mod to do and I have no regrets.

...regarding the stoplight thing - BRZ (FR-S) is not my vehicle of choice for that type of activity! But, I totally understand where you are coming from!!!!

Haha. True that... Not my thing either, but every now and then it's fun to have a little 'under the radar fun'. Nothing to crazy...
I guess since there are no complains, I may go for it.
And yes... I was aware it doesn't add HP but rather helps with gear transition and take off. So... I may require tips once I get it!

The carrier already picked up my BRZ from the dealership in denver last night. Should have it sooner than anticipated.

Already got these parts on order:
JPMcoachworks Stitched Alcantara OEM Gauge Cluster Hood
JDM STI start red button
aFe OER Air Filter ProDry S
Perrin 2 inch shorty antennae

I am going to do the LED swap too.
Does the BRz use the 7440 or 7443 for the front LED turn signals?

I kept the turn signals stock. I just swapped Int, plates, trunk.

I am swapping them all..no old bulbs are going to be in my car! Hehe!

Even the backup lights...I think the front turn signals are single element. They don't stay on as running lights right? When everything is on all you see is the HIDs, leds and fog lights...right?

If so then the fronts are 7440 leds just light the backs. I think I am going to go amber LEDs turn signals for the rear and white or amber led turn signals for the front...
I am even going to swap out the D4S HID bulbs for these in 6000k:

http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pro...oducts_id=3180

Because you know since I got WRB I got to have a tinge of blue in my HID lights.
